Join Positive Charge! PDX in an effort to alleviate period poverty, a growing public health crisis, even here in Oregon. Soon, we'll be inviting you to donate period and hygiene products or to join us in person to assemble Period Packs filled with "essentials" for people who have to choose between food on the table and menstrual products.

Thanks to an extraordinarily generous community, our 2025 Period Power Project brought in enough feminine hygiene products for over 2,200 Period Packs! We delivered those to social service agencies who distributed the supplies to low-income neighbors who menstruate.

 

Now, we're planning for our 2026 Period Power Project collection to run from April 11 to May 2—in anticipation of distributing the Period Packs during national Period Poverty Awareness Week (May 11-17) and culminating on international Menstrual Hygiene Day (May 28).

If you're connected to a business, healthcare organization, sports organization, school, or the like who would to host a public bin, a staff/student collection, or a game-night collection, please contact us at info@PositiveChargePDX.org. A PC! PDX volunteer will walk you through the process and provide promotional materials.
