For the Love of Our Furry Friends - Windermere MLK

This event is one of two Positive Charge! PDX "For the Love of Furry Friends" events going on in Portland this day! While PC! PDX volunteers on the West side will be making cat toys for the Cat Adoption Team (CAT), you'll be part of the assembly line making snuffle mats and other dog toys for our friends at Street Dog Hero. Click on the links to learn more about these wonderful local organizations that are caring for our sweet animals who are awaiting a forever family. 

CAT is the largest cat shelter in the Pacific Northwest. They offer adoption, foster care, and veterinary services to homeless cats and kittens. Street Dog Hero is an Oregon-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing street dogs around the world and locally, taking care of them, and fostering and adopting them out to loving homes.

This is a family-friendly event. You can be assured there'll be something for kids to do. No sewing experience is needed! Just come prepared to have fun and make new friends!

No need to bring any supplies. We'll have everything you need. If you want to bring something, feel free to bring cat or dog food with you to donate. We'll get the food to the appropriate animal shelter.

Space is limited, so please register ASAP.  No walk-ups will be admitted. 

PARKING: The entrance to Windermere's Conference Room is accessed from their back parking lot, not from MLK street. If the parking lot is full, there also is street parking. Do NOT park in the parking lot of the paint store nearby.
