PC! PDX Game Night
When does the Project start?
About the Project
Thought Quarantine Karaoke was fun? Let’s try a PC! PDX Game Night! Our premier game night will feature the fun, interactive Codenames.
For this game, two teams compete by each having a "spymaster" give one-word clues that can point to multiple words on the screen. The other players on the team attempt to guess their team's words while avoiding the words of the other team. It’s fun and easy, but, rest assured, we’ll provide a quick tutorial prior to commencing.
To play, it’s best to have two electronic devices at hand: one for the Zoom screen to interact with others, and the second for your game board. You can use your phone and a tablet, or a tablet and laptop, or whatever combination you desire. Or you can choose to use one laptop and screenshare the Codenames board, if that floats your boat. The link for the Codenames board will be provided to you in the Chat function when you sign on the night of the Zoom event. If we have lots of folks, we'll randomly divide into breakout rooms so everyone gets to play!
All ages welcome. Little ones may best be teammates with their parents.
To participate in PC! PDX Game Night, before June 27:
- Download the Zoom app on your laptop/phone/tablet and create an account
- Ensure you have the latest version of Zoom (which includes most current security)
On the night of June 27, at 7 pm PST:

Looking forward to the fun!
